Cape Ann Savings Bank is looking for an experienced HR leader who wants a seat at the table and the opportunity to make a visible difference. Reporting directly to the President, this role partners with Senior Management and the Board of Trustees to lead the Bank's people strategy while staying connected to employees and managers across the organization.With approximately 85 employees, this is an ideal opportunity for a strategic, hands-on HR professional who values relationships, sound judgment and community.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the President, Senior Management and managers.
- Lead talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, succession and workforce planning.
- Guide compensation and benefits strategy to support attraction, retention and internal equity.
- Build leadership and employee development programs that strengthen the Bank's talent pipeline.
- Coach managers through sensitive employee and performance matters.
- Oversee HR policies, compliance and workforce metrics.
- Contribute to strategic planning and Board discussions involving people, compensation, benefits and culture.
What You'll Bring
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts and federal employment laws.
- Excellent judgment, communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
- A strategic mindset with the willingness to stay hands-on.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Banking, financial services or other regulated-industry experience preferred; HR certification a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
$120,000-$160,000 salary range plus medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, supplemental hospital indemnity coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, pension plan, paid time off and professional development opportunities.Why Cape Ann Savings Bank?
